Better idea! Instead of a remake of the Newsies...

they should make a TV series set in NYC 1899 about the lives of newsboys. Instead of Jack Kelly and David Jacobs, the main characters would be Kid Blink and David “Yaller” Simmons. Cameos would of course be made by Racetrack Higgins, Young Mush Meyers, Boots, Jack Sullivan, and most importantly (??) Spot Conlon.
